Lancaster Alcove

The A.D.R agency chose us to redesign the scenography of a space located in the offices of Lancaster, the key cosmetics brand born in Monaco. The aim was to transform this alcove into a laboratory inspired by the early days of the brand, while combining authenticity and modernity. This showcase is integrated into the company’s visitor itinerary, designed for the brand’s partners, to reinforce and celebrate its history.

In order to maintain a connection with the brand’s history, we incorporated several emblematic elements from its early days, including a panoramic view of the Bay of Monaco and a portrait of one of the brand’s founders, Dr Eugène Frezzati.

We focused on the choice of materials with a very specific intention: to revisit the old, while adding touches of modernity. The floor is terrazzo inlaid with orange dots, and the mahogany is enhanced with hints of contemporary colours. The workbench has been carefully designed in terms of materials and lines, in order to combine authenticity and modernity.

Our team oversaw the construction and installation of the project, with particular attention paid by our fitter to every detail, in perfectly keeping with the values of this ‘Made in Monaco’ premium cosmetics brand.

Particular attention was paid to the tempered glass structure and back, integrated into the design of the space, to reaffirm the grandeur and symbolism of an iconic location marking the beginning of this legendary Monegasque success story.
